We wish we had a better answer, something that can really move the needle for you. Something you can refer to. But that would be irresponsible.
It's "it depends" because so much relies on your specific context and environment. What you want / don't want, what you expect, ... now. There are too many factors coming into making big and impactful decisions, there are risks, costs associated with anything and what's right for your neighbor may not be right for you.
So, in most cases, it's 'it depends', at least until we know more and can have a better understanding of the situation.
