I define the term Saasify as the process of making a SaaS out of existing services / product / tools.
The idea behind it is that you have an existing offering. You want to be more efficient at delivering to your clients, both old and new. Using software to help you is a good solution.
Key words in the definition are process and existing.
If you go online, you may find a lot of resources on building a SaaS (What is SaaS?). Most of them, assuming you are a developer, technical and starting from scratch.
When you have an existing business offering, you are not starting from scratch. Unless you want to create something completely unrelated. You may be starting from 0 on the software development and technical aspects. But you are not on the other aspects.
So, the goal with Saasifying is to start there. Use what you currently have as the foundation and work towards building one. Even if my advice is to not target have one.
